The volunteer attendant with car service is a support service that includes  transportation by a volunteer driver attached to a community organization duly recognized by the Health and Social Services Agency..

It consists of accompanying people during appointments. Offer them a secure presence and a means of transport.

How does it work ?

The volunteer picks up the person at home and helps them to get into the vehicle. Together, they present themselves at the appointemnent. Make a difference !

Isolation and loneliness are affecting more and more vulnerable people. Accompanying people with a loss of physical and / or light cognitive autonomy is a positive action that does so much good for those who need it.

Promotion

The Projet

The Attendant Services in Support of Senior Mobility(Accompagner pour Soutenir la mobilité des aînés) project follows through on our For Comprehensive Attendant Services Pilot Project, where we tested our regional attendant services service model developed in conjunction with the Attendant Services Board in a CSSS territory.

This project aims to roll out the model of regional service offerings for attendant (successfully tested in the framework of the pilot project ("For a regional offer in accompaniment") for the benefit of seniors throughout the Island of Montreal.

The promotion campaign

''Care and Carry''

aims to increase the voluntary offer of the attendant with car (car accompaniment) throughout the Island of Montreal, which should help meet the important needs of seniors in this area.

Several promotional will be used; radio campaign, highway poster, posting with our partners and the walls of the city of Montreal, advertising on social networks and much more.
